Sarah Palin aside, what seems to be happening in politics is that the corporate own press is making public opinion focus on non-issues like sex appeal and gossip instead of foreign policy and domestic economics. As long as the public is fighting over non-issues then big oil is off the hook and George Bush gets away with murder. Notice how timely the price of gasoline has fallen and the big response to hurricane warnings. The Republicans are dead in the waters in the up coming elections Sarah Palin will not save them and they know it, but when will the American masses wake up and smell the coffee the 'Neocons' are brewing. This election may very well be our last free election where the masses have a say in who leads the nation. Should by fluke the Republicans stay in office, they will seek to destroy our government by proving the inability of the federal government to function effectively and call for more privatization of government functions and more corporatocracy/plutocracy to benefit the super-rich, while the masses suffer. Our country is teetering on the edge of a violent political reaction, which nobody wants to talk about coming, if reforms fails to take hold in this next election. Fight The Machine and Fight The Power!
