You can't Join everybody business-You will Go broke!
Have you ran across prospects that refuse to consider your business unless you join theirs? This is crazy! It can be very expensive running a business! Now you are going to try 2? Just to be nice? This is not maing sound business decisions.
When you are starting out, you can't join everybody's gravy train. Over 60% of them quit the busineses they were trying to get you to join. I know, because I was oneof them for a long time.
So How do u go about this if you are not interested in someone's business and they joined yours?
You simply tell them the truth. Their business is not a good fit for you right now. Tell them you will committ to giving them referrals. Please do not offer referrals to be nice. Save it!
Be honest if you can not think of referrals right now. It's O.K.
You will run across someone that will need their business as well as yours. So Take a few of their business cards and keep them. THey will love this! You never who may need their service(s) or company. You will earn the most respect from fellow entrepreneurs this way.Forming this type of business relationship is so much better than joining a business you do not like or cannot afford because they joined yours.
Their are ways you can be resourceful to help build one's business. You just have to stop thinking of You, and know that when you help others, you are reaping those seeds 10 fold!
As time goes on , the better things will get between you two. Soon, some stranger comes along and say" I would love to get some Soy candles for my mother?" Watch how the referral roll off your tongue. Yeah! If you are really good, you will hand them a business cards and say Call them today!
