There are world events shaping the course of mankind's history today. The Day of Pentecost changed the world of Christ's disciples unlike any other event in their lives.
Often people will make fun of others whose behavior is different from what they consider normal.
Acts 2:1-4
Verse 1 ... Sacred Seasons; Pentecost, The Apostolic Pentecost
Pentecost is the birthday of the Church.
Verse 2 ... Miracles; Miraculous Deliverances & Phenomena; Sounds
There was a "sound" that was "like the rush of a mighty wind" but it does not say there was any wind.
In different languages listen to voices expressing the same words of praise to God.
Breath or Wind is a symbol of the Spirit of God (Ezekiel 37:9, 14; John 3:8)
Festivals of Israel ... there were seven in all.,
Pentecost/Festival of Weeks was the second festival. It was celebrated fifty days after the Passover. It lasted one day (Deuteronomy 16:9-12).

Verse 8,9,10,11 ... The Hebrews; Judaism & Christianity; The Pentecostal Beginning 30 A.D., Realized
Those who were present on the Day of Pentecost in Jerusalem... God-fearing Jews from a number of nations and fifteen different groups that heard about God's power and deeds (verses 9-11).
The Holy Spirit is active today at work in the lives of believers/Christians/Saints of God - to lead, guide/direct and or arrange change in the life of the believer when necessary.
Acts 2:12-13
Verse 12 ... Miracles; Effects of Miracles; Amazement
Verse 13 ... Miracles; Effects Of Miracles; Unbelief and Doubt
Some were amazed and some were in doubt. The outpouring of power on the apostles on Pentecost was the fulfillment of Jesus'/Yeshua' promise. The Church entered upon the last days as a result of the coming of the Pentecost (Acts 2:17).

Mankind (male/female) in some point of their lives will face experiences that produce dramatic changes in their lives. Life transforming power is provided by the Holy Spirit.
To the fearful, change is threatening because they worry things will become worse. To the hopeful, change is encouraging because mankind (male/female) feel things may become better.
Buck Rogers quoted, in Getting the Best Out of Yourself & Others, "We live in a time of paradox, contradiction, opportunity, and above all, change (Speaker's Sourcebook).
