Kedar Massenburg, founder and CEO of Kedar Beverages LLC, teamed with Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, a respected oenologist, master distiller and founder of EuroWineGate, to create K'orus.

K'orus was conceived when Massenburg and Robicquet identified an enormous shortcoming in the wine industry -- they recognized that the industry was overlooking African-Americans, a powerful and trendsetting consumer group. The pair saw this gap as an opportunity to create a premium product that will enable these consumers, and other novice wine drinkers, to feel more confident when choosing and drinking wine - through educating these selective consumers about wine and eliminating the insecurities that can often be associated with learning something new.
