    by Scott Woods inPolitical on2020-08-13

For me, politics is like hiring a hitman. I have values and things I care about. I care enough about them to at least bother voting for 5 minutes every year for one issue or another. And because I care at least that much, I vote for people who align with the ability to realize the things I care about.

by Roger Madison Jr. inOur Community on2019-10-28

There are many narratives that define the Black experience in America in this 2nd decade of the 21st century. Our striving over the centuries of our sojourn in this nation is a tapestry of every human experience -- oppression, enslavement, forced assimilation, dehumanization, exclusion, segregation, isolation, struggle, perseverance, achievement, excellence, celebration, mourning, despair, progress, setbacks, lynching, assassination, genocide, terror, self-hatred, low esteem, pride,...

Taking Control of Your Health!

[video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO94uFC2O8g 320x240]With so many health concerns plaguing us today, it is imperative to take prevenatitive measures to ensure we have optimum health levels.  There are no guarantees that states we won't get sick, but we know preventative measures are helpful.  Going green is more than saving the planet and reducing global warming; it's about detoxing you life for your health! I have taken the time to research Shaklee and other companies that are in the health and wellness industry and made a decision to be a Shaklee Independent Distributor because I want to be able to teach people how to take the preventative measures to improve the level of their health.  I also did some research on a health concern that affects women.  Please watch the video and educate yourself.  If you do go green with Shaklee  products, please go green any way you can find!

Also, I pulled this exerpt from : http://www.organicconsumers.org/foodsafety/immune050905.cfm "Researchers are uncovering a definite link between environmental pollutants and a growing number of autoimmune diseases. Disorders like lupus, multiple sclerosis (MS) and Type I diabetes are on the rise, says Glinda Cooper, an epidemiologist with the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). "It's very likely that environmental factors play a role in the development of these diseases," Cooper says.

Please study, research, and prevent.  I hope this is helpful to someone.
